What is BHASMA?
Bhasma in Ayurveda has been defined as a substance obtained by calcination. Bhasma (residue after incineration — calcined preparation) and pishti (powdered gem or metal) are used with herbs for the treatment of critical ailments as a medicinal preparation in Ayurveda and to some extent Unani (both Indian branches of medical science using natural curative methods).
The procedures for preparing these medicines are time-consuming and complicated.
Bhasma is a calcined preparation in which the gem or metal is converted into ash. Gems or metals are purified to remove impurities and treated by triturating and macerating in herbal extracts. The dough so obtained is calcinated to obtain the ashes.

Product Qualities
NO PPD (para-phenylenediamine) – PPD is highly sensitizing, and studies link it to lupus, non-Hopkins lymphoma, and asthma. Allergic reactions can cause severe injuries and can be fatal. The hazards of para-phenylenediamine have been known since its introduction for use as an industrial fur dye and in personal hair dyes. Most available products in each of these categories contain PPD. However, hair coloring products are now defined by “lift.” Permanent dyes first lighten, or “lift,” the ambient hair color with ammonia and peroxide to allow the dye to cover gray hair more effectively. PPD is known to be the most frequent contact allergen found in hair dyes.
NO PTDS: (Para-toluenediamine sulphate) – A PPD substitute.
NO AMMONIA – Ammonia is put into hair color in order to bust through the hair cuticle to deposit color. A consequence of this action is damage to the hair cuticle that ultimately degrades the hair’s structural integrity. Effects of Ammonia include irritation to the: Nose.
NO PEROXIDE – Peroxide itself is a harmful chemical, but it is diluted before being used on the hair so only a small amount goes on your head. As many people associate hydrogen peroxide with damage to the hair. The most common side effect of topical hydrogen peroxide is irritation of the skin at the site of contact. Higher concentrations of hydrogen peroxide can cause serious skin burns and blisters.
NO BLACK HEENA OR HEENA – Henna seems to be safe for most adults when used on the skin or hair. Black Heena can cause some side effects such as inflammation of the skin (dermatitis) including redness, itching, burning, swelling, scaling, broken skin, blisters, and scarring of the skin.
NO HEENA – ORANGISH SHADE
NO INDIGO – NO BLUISH OR PURPLE SHADE
NO STAINS – After Application of Natural hair clay Ayurvedic Sagar powder, No stains on skin, means No judgment of Application Hair dye.
