Guide
How to use
Sagar Powder works while the paste stays moist and covered. Allow two to three hours, and follow these steps for the best results.
- 1
Start with clean hair
Wash hair with soap or shampoo so that no trace of grease or oil remains.
- 2
Mix a thick paste
In a china or glass bowl, mix the powder with water into a thick, creamy paste — for example, 25 g of powder with 30 ml of water, as on the pack.
- 3
Apply evenly
With your hands or a brush, apply the paste to towel-dried or water-sprayed hair so no strand is left uncoated. Layer the remaining paste on top.
- 4
Cover airtight
Immediately cover the coated hair airtight with cling film or a thin plastic sheet. A piece of cloth on top helps it grip.
- 5
Wait 2–3 hours
Keep the paste moist and covered. Leave it longer for darker results.
- 6
Rinse & nourish
Wash out with a good flow of water and shampoo. Apply hair oil generously to avoid dryness, and use conditioner to reduce roughness.
Tips
For the best results
- Dry or air-exposed paste will not work — always keep coated hair covered and moist.
- For darker results, leave the paste on longer, or repeat the application two days later.
- To avoid knots, comb or brush gently from the bottom upwards.
- Do not use a hot air dryer.
- If you don't like oily hair, wash again with a mild soap or shampoo after oiling.
- For soft, silky hair, follow with any hot-oil treatment cream.
- Results depend on the condition of your hair and skin, and on the weather.
- First-time users may feel a tingling sensation, itchiness or roughness. Use conditioner and hair oil after washing; if irritation continues, stop use and consult a doctor.
